Pegasus

This marks our 2nd post! I should have introduced both myself and J in the previous post, our FIRST post EVER, but it was late and I was hungry. For me, hungry = unfocused and cranky as J can attest to.

We actually hit up this joint last month... the PEGASUS. We both ordered our usual for lunch - the Athenian which is $17.95 for each person. It's more than enough food for the both of us, and we love the variety.

Saganaki- Kefalograviera cheese flambe
Always a sinful pleasure.

Greek salad and Tarmosalata, a smooth whipped fish roe spread. J is usually very picky about vegetables, but he came very close to finishing his salad because of the dressing. Both of us were not fond of the tarmosalata.

The main course, composed of Spanakopita (spinach cheese pie), Pastitsio (baked macoaroni, ground meat with Bechamel sauce), Dolmathes (stuffed grape leaves with egg and lemon sauce), Mousakas (eggplant, zucchini and ground meat with Bechamel sauce), potato and rice pilaf. We love the entire plate, the combination of foods.

A different angle and closer look so you can see the potato.

Desert - Baklavas (layers of fillo dough with walnuts, cinnamon and honey), Galaktoboureko (lemon custard in fillo dough with light honey syrup) and coffee

J and I are very devoted to Greek food. That being said, I feel like these photos don't do the food justice. We do plan on heading back for lunch. When we do, more improved photos to come.
